Da Gigi is sinds 1979 een begrip in Veenendaal en omgeving. Al 40 jaar een uniek Italiaanse specialiteitenrestaurant. Da Gigi is een ontstaan uit een echt familiebedrijf, met maar een doel voor ogen, haar gasten een optimale Italiaanse beleving laten proeven en ervaren. Die doelstelling leeft nog steeds, met weliswaar een andere familie, maar nog steeds Italiaans.

In ons restaurant serveren wij verrassingsmenu’s waarin onze gasten met authentiek Italiaanse gerechten worden verwend. In onze Pizzeria serveren wij naast steenoven pizza’s ook de lekkerste pasta’s en kleine gerechten van de kaart.

Da Gigi has been a household name in Veenendaal and the surrounding area since 1979. A unique Italian specialty restaurant for 40 years. Da Gigi grew out of a real family business, with only one goal in mind: to give its guests the best possible Italian experience. That goal is still alive today, with a different family, but still Italian. In our restaurant, we serve surprise menus in which our guests are pampered with authentic Italian dishes. In our Pizzeria, in addition to wood-oven pizzas, we also serve the tastiest pastas and small dishes from the menu.

We are looking for a Head Chef with experience in Italian cuisine, perhaps even of Italian origin. Our new colleague will help compose surprise menus, specials for the pizzeria or for take-away. She also thinks about the presentation of the dishes for the restaurant and for takeaway. Besides the creative part, you also manage the kitchen. You arrange the orders and ensure proper control upon delivery. With the owner, you determine the staffing, both qualitatively and quantitatively. With the owner, you are responsible for the calculation of the kitchen dishes. You are responsible for communication between the restaurant and the pizzaiolo. You will also help think about improvements in techniques, work layout and use of tools.

• A remuneration in line with the market, depending on experience, between €3000 and €4000 gross per month

What we ask for:

• Experience in Italian cuisine, preferably of Italian origin

• Willing to take responsibility, including for the pizzeria if necessary

• Available from Wednesday to Sunday

Sous Chef / Pizzaiolo

We are looking for a Sous Chef who has experience with Italian cuisine, maybe even from Italian descent. Our new colleague thinks along about the composition of the surprise menus, the specials for the pizzeria or for takeout, under the supervision of the Chef. In addition, he has experience in making pizzas or is willing to learn this. In addition to helping in the kitchen, you help the pizzaiolo when it is busy or replace it when he is absent. At the direction of the Chef, you ensure the implementation of the hygiene rules and the maintenance of stocks. You are given the opportunity to think along with the design of dishes and the layout thereof. In the absence of the chef, you are his replacement.You implement the communication with the restaurant and the pizzaiolo. Bediening / Bezorging

P A R T T I M E

Wij zijn op zoek naar een medewerker, die plezier heeft om onze gasten een mooie avond te bezorgen. Je gaat correct om met onze gasten en zorgt ervoor dat het hen niets tekort komt. Daarnaast kun je ook worden ingezet als bezorger die onze heerlijke gerechten en pizza’s bij de mensen thuis wil brengen met onze FIAT Fiorino. Indien je dat wilt kun je deze baan ook combineren met het werken in de keuken en zo het aantal uren uitbreiden.

Spoelkeuken

P A R T T I M E

Wij zijn op zoek naar iemand die graag die blij wordt orde scheppen in rommel. Je werkt in de spoelkeuken aan de afwas. Als je deze onder controle hebt, kun je jezelf ontwikkelen in het opmaken van de gerechten in de koude keuken. Indien je dat wilt kun je deze baan ook combineren met het bezorgen van onze maaltijden en pizza’s.
